July is a rather slow month for the NFL, so the Regulators Podcast took a small sabbatical to recharge the batteries. Now that we are refreshed and feigning to talk NFL action, we come to you know at the turn of the tide. With the Hall of Fame Game only weeks away and meaningful NFL action just beyond, we thought it would be a good time to look around the NFL and come up with our 2022 All-Preseason Team. As you may know at the end of the year we give out our annual Regulator Awards (The Reggies) and recognize elite performances on the field. However, this year we wanted to try and produce a solid list BEFORE the season started on our most dynamic players. So, like a group orgy we figured “the more the merrier,” and invited a couple friends of the show to join us. We reached out to Antwan Staley and Jason Sarney to join us for some fun. We will each be drafting 10 players in the NFL that if we would select to build the ultimate NFL team in 2022. Here are the ground rules:

We will each take turns drafting players onto our team.

1. You may only select one player per position. (i.e. 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 DE, 1 LB, etc.)
2. Once someone is drafted off of a team that team is OFF LIMITS and no more players can be selected from that team.

This means we will ultimately be selecting 30 players from 30 teams, we will have to strategize when to take players from what teams and how quick those players come off the board. It’s all for fun. These aren’t Madden Ratings or PFF grades. This is just a unique and entertaining way for us to put together our ten best players for 2022.
